GAJAR KA HALWA - DELICIOUS CARROT HALWA DESSRT




    
                                   Gajar ka halwa is a very popular Indian dish.It is very healthy and amazing mouth watering dessert,very simple to cook.Divine touch of saffron has given this dish a new shahi form.I made the recipe in authentic north Indian style.Do try this yummy dish and let me know. Ingredients

                       1. 6 grated carrots
                       2. 25 gms chopped cashew nuts & almonds
                       3. 25 gms raisin
                       4. 5-6 tablespoon sugar
                       5. 1 cup khoya / mawa (optional)
                       6. 3 tablespoon ghee
                       7. 1 pinch of salt
                       8. 1 teaspoon smashed green cardamom  
                       9. 1 litre milk
                      10. 1 bayleaf

Lets learn how to prepare it -🌝



Method :

                  Step 1  : Heat a pan & add ghee in it,let it melt.Now give grated carrot in it & fry it for 12-15 minutes on medium flame.Stir it in between.After that add a bayleaf and all dry fruits,mix it well.

                  Step 2 : After 5 minutes give salt,then add milk in it and cook it for 10-15 minutes on medium flame covering a lid.Opening the lid check the carrot.Now give khoya and stir it on medium flame. Add sugar & smashed cardamom, keep stirring for a while. Now turn off the flame .Here it is ready your carrot halwa.Garnish it with saffron and cherry.
